Job Description

We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor interested in working for a dynamic organization The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for efficiently installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, as well as repairing manufacturing equipment, routine building and non-manufacturing equipment maintenance and/or repair. The right candidate will possess the knowledge and skills to manufacture production and building maintenance parts from a drawing or concept, with a high regard for Quality.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain, repair, build and upgrade equipment in a timely manner
  • Coordinate the planned work of crews to ensure maintenance targets are met and quality standards are adhered to
  • Supervise and provide leadership in developing and maintaining Preventative Maintenance Programs and Spare Parts Inventory in a manner to:
    • ensure compliance
    • maximize production
    • reduce costs
  • Work with Whitlam Group Scheduling Department to minimize downtime of machinery for Preventative Maintenance
  • Evaluate contractors for required equipment, maintenance and inspections
  • Responsible for signing EPA Manifest Disposal / Shipments of Hazardous Waste
  • Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of a documented Total Productive Maintenance System for meet IATF 16949:2016 Standard requirements

This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager and is a full-time position.

Experience Required

Requirements for position:

  • Ability to understand and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems
  • Has a working knowledge of tool-making machinery (Bridgeport, Lathe, Drill Press, etc.)
  • Familiar with National Electrical Codes
  • Knowledge of Logic Boards and Relays
  • Ability to work with hazardous materials and conditions in a safe manner
  • Ability to work a flexible shift when duties and/or schedules require accommodation beyond normal production hours
  • Proficient at exercising independent judgment and objective reasoning
  • Ability to document accurately and in a timely manner
  • An Innovative Spirit and Hands-on problem solver
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Computer literate and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills

Education Required


  • Ideal candidate will have a 2-Year Associate College Degree in a Technical Discipline or related education
  • 3+ Years of Industrial, Electronic / Electrical experience or related field
  • Previous Supervisory experience a plus
  • Understanding of EPA/DEQ rules covering Universal Waste, Hazardous Waste, Liquid Industrial Waste and Solid Waste preferred. Will provide In-House training if necessary
